For Jennifer Eisenhuth, DDS ’94, MS ’96, dentistry—and the University of Minnesota—are a family affair. That’s why the school is so close to her heart—and why it’s part of her estate plans.

As Henry Exner, DDS ’27, begins his studies at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, he is forging new paths for his family—bolstered by the support that brought him here.

The School of Dentistry held its annual White Coat Ceremony to welcome incoming clinical learners to the profession on Friday, September 8 at Northrop Auditorium.

Students and staff attended the Student National Dentist Association conference this July in New Orleans, gaining connections and insights about diversity, dentistry and more. 

A group of learners is paying forward the lessons and support they received to their underclass colleagues. 

Two sets of twins are becoming dentists together at the School of Dentistry—and they’re getting the full Twin Cities experience. 

The School of Dentistry welcomed 134 incoming learners into the DDS Class of 2027, the Dental Therapy Class of 2026 and the Dental Hygiene Class of 2025. 

A total of 134 learners joined the two-day, in-person session to get to know one another, learn about the school and prepare for their first semester as School of Dentistry students. 

Jacob Wolf, DDS ’22, never expected to be back in his hometown of Fargo, North Dakota after graduation—but after a year of practice, he couldn’t be happier with his choice.
