When you graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, you don’t leave your time as a Gopher behind. As an alumnus, you enter a community of oral health professionals that spans across the state, the country and even the world. Our alumni are active in the Twin Cities, serving in rural and tribal communities and paving the way for comprehensive care no matter where they go. No matter where you are, we encourage you to stay connected with your alma mater.
Join us on campus each year for your alumni reunion weekend, serve on the School of Dentistry Alumni Society board or attend an event near you. Become a mentor for current students, or share your story with young people in your community and encourage them to pursue a career in oral health. Whatever way you choose to keep up your connection, you are a Gopher for life.

At the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, our generous donors are the foundation for all we are able to do. Your gifts fund scholarships that allow us to recruit brilliant, diverse and culturally competent candidates who in turn have greater freedom to serve in their choice of setting upon graduation.
You help provide research grants that lead to cutting-edge discoveries and impact the future of oral health care. You support our faculty and students as they ask questions, seek better answers and provide the highest quality care to all patients. Donations in support of students, like the Alumni Scholarship fund create a connection between our alumni, donors and current students, who feel supported and welcomed into the Minnesota dental community from the beginning of their time on campus.
