Our mission

The mission of the School of Dentistry Alumni Society is to:

  1. Connect alumni to the School of Dentistry and the University
  2. Generate alumni pride and support
  3. Enhance the student experience
  4. Help advance the mission of the School of Dentistry.

What we do

  • Plan and host Dentistry Alumni Weekend
  • Select recipients of Distinguished Alumni Awards annually
  • Create a strong alumni voice in the school and after graduation

The School of Dentistry Alumni Society is also involved in a wide variety of successful initiatives to help improve the student experience including:

  • Hosting alumni lunch and learns, wellbeing talks, residency panels and dinners with students
  • Sponsoring the Senior Recognition Banquet & White Coat Ceremony
  • Awarding scholarships annually to dental, dental hygiene, and dental therapy students
  • Facilitating the sponsorship of caps and gowns for all graduating students
