School of Dentistry Policies

Policies govern activities at the University and the School of Dentistry. Our policies clarify the school’s expectations of its individual members, mitigate institutional risk, enhance efficiency, and support our compliance with laws and regulations. Our policies serve to provide greater detail and clarification for School of Dentistry-related processes and procedures, and are subject to the administrative policies that govern activities at the University. 

Our policies promote: 

• consistent definitions, process and format for policies and procedures
• the appropriate level, scope and frequency of oversight to unit-level policies and procedures
• are clear, transparent and establish shared understanding, and 
• addresses a process that is not already covered by another policy
