Kelvin Khng, BDS, MS, is a Board-certified Specialist in Prosthodontics (in the US and Singapore) specializing in implant crowns, bridges, and all facets of aesthetic dentistry. He is a fellow of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, the Singapore Dental Association, and the Past President of the Prosthodontic Society of Singapore. He completed his dental education in Singapore. He then pursued a Master of Science in Oral Sciences with a certificate in Prosthodontics and a teaching fellowship at the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry. He currently serves as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the National University of Singapore and owns a private practice. He is a highly sought-after international speaker focusing on Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Dentures.
Alvin G. Wee, DDS, BDS, MS, MPH, PhD, is Professor and Director, Division of Prosthodontics, Department of Restorative Sciences, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is the President-elect of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the Director of the Prosthodontic Forum, American College of Prosthodontist and the Assistant Editor, The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Wee’s professional career started at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1998, where he was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2004. His academic career continued at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as Director of the Division of Oral Facial Prosthetics, Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, and then at Creighton University as Director of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. In 2014, he accepted a position at the Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System in Omaha, Nebraska. He was Assistant Dental Service Chief and Dental Laboratory supervisor. He joined the University of Minnesota in 2019 as a tenured Full Professor.
