These students include the DDS Class of 2030, the Dental Therapy Class of 2029, the Dental Hygiene Class of 2028 and learners in advanced education programs, residencies and graduate programs.

Students from the School of Dentistry recently attended the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) National Convention in Richmond, Virginia. 

Gloria Baxter, fourth-year PhD candidate in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Genetics Graduate Program, received an NIH F31 grant for her human retrovirus assembly work.

The School of Dentistry welcomed the DDS Class of 2030, Dental Therapy Class of 2029 and Dental Hygiene Class of 2028 to campus for orientation on August 12-13. 

The School of Dentistry honored the Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 with an awards banquet on July 16.

Three School of Dentistry students received the University of Minnesota’s President’s Student Leadership and Service Award (PSLSA) in 2026.

Two DDS students are part of a six-month cohort aimed at fostering leadership, social responsibility and change for the future.

A course for University of Minnesota Medical School students is providing opportunities for collaboration and interprofessional education with School of Dentistry faculty and students.

Graduates and their loved ones gathered alongside faculty and staff for the school’s 137th Commencement Ceremony, held in Northrop Auditorium.
