 In honor of Pride Month, we spoke with Springer about his experience at the School of Dentistry and in the school’s LGBTQ+ Affinity Group. 

Emily Vu, BSDH ’24, is passionate about dental hygiene and excited to graduate and make a difference in the oral health field. She’s also a proud Asian-American student. In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we spoke with Vu about her decision to pursue dental hygiene and what it means to her to be an Asian-American student and clinician. 

This Black History Month, an orthodontics resident is doing his part to honor the legacy of Black historical figures.

Sixteen learners joined the DDS Class of 2026 this January as part of the Program for Advanced Standing Students.

Inspired by the call to duty and honoring their ancestors and fellow community members, four School of Dentistry learners have dedicated themselves to serving their country while improving oral health care.

Twenty-nine residents and graduate learners joined the School of Dentistry this summer to specialize and further their oral health education.

Members of the School of Dentistry gathered for exercises in connection and teambuilding this week. 

Students and staff attended the Student National Dentist Association conference this July in New Orleans, gaining connections and insights about diversity, dentistry and more. 

The inaugural cohort of MnCORE learners are making an impact on research projects throughout Moos Tower.

The School of Dentistry welcomed 134 incoming learners into the DDS Class of 2027, the Dental Therapy Class of 2026 and the Dental Hygiene Class of 2025.
