Aaron Bumann, DDS ’13, was named the Missouri Dental Association’s 2023 Dentist of the Year, the association announced in July. 

Gaurav Jain, DDS PASS ’16, Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry ’24, received a 2024 Resident Recognition Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Kaitlyn Niemann, BSDH ’23, MDT ’24, received the 2024 Sigma Phi Alpha Excellence in Journalism Award from the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. 

A dental hygiene faculty member and student were recognized with educational scholarships from the American Dental Hygienists’ Association’s Institute for Oral Health Foundation. 

Katrina Sanders, RDH, BSDH ’07, MEd, RF, is the 2022 recipient of the School of Dentistry Distinguished Dental Hygiene Alumni Award.

The School of Dentistry celebrated the graduation and completion of studies of the Dental Hygiene Class of 2024 with an awards banquet on Thursday, July 18. 

Kalyana Tejasvi Mondreti, DDS ’24, received the President’s Student Leadership and Service Award.
