Building Security and Access

Here's the three-step process you should follow to park, enter our building and locate your classroom:

1. Park or walk to Washington Avenue Parking Ramp
   • Driving?
     • Park in the Washington Avenue Ramp: 501 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
     • Use the entrance at the corner of Union Street at Washington Ave.
     • Push the button at the entrance box
     • Take your slip to activate the gate
     • If there is an attendant in the gate booth, tell the attendant you have a reservation for a Continuing Dental Education course
     • During the course, you will receive detailed instructions for exiting the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp at no cost to you
   • Getting Dropped Off? Have your driver drop you off at the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp entrance located on Union Street and Washington Avenue: 501 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
   • Staying at the Graduate Hotel? Walk through the skyway to the southwest corner of the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp
2. Ride the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp southwest elevators to the tunnel level (B)
   • Walk through the tunnel to Moos Tower
   • Locate the security desk
   • Show the security team a printed document or email on your phone confirming your course attendance
   • The security team will check your name off their list
3. Take the Moos Tower elevators (by Caribou Coffee) to your conference room
   • Take the elevator to the appropriate floor as indicated in the email

Light Rail Transit

The MetroTransit Green Line light rail transit features a stop directly in front of Moos Tower. For schedules and more information on the Green Rail, go to MetroTransit.

Parking is available in the Washington Avenue Ramp. The Washington Avenue Ramp is located at 501 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.

Push the button on the stationary box to receive a parking slip and activate the gate. Detailed instructions for exiting the ramp will be provided during the program. You MUST bring your parking slip with you to registration. Continuing Dental Education will validate the parking slip to allow parking charges to be billed to Continuing Dental Education.

If the ramp is FULL or if EVENT PARKING is in place, please inform the attendant that you are attending a Continuing Dental Education conference in the School of Dentistry.

PLEASE NOTE: If you park anywhere besides the Washington Ave. Ramp, you will be responsible for the parking fees.

The Graduate Minneapolis hotel guests only: If you are staying at the Graduate Minneapolis, we encourage that you make parking reservations directly with the hotel. We cannot validate parking for overnight stays. Validated parking is only available during course hours.
