Panoramic: What a Mess!

Did you know that about 99% of panoramic radiographs have errors? About 25-33% of panoramic radiographs deserve to be in the trash can. In this three-hour seminar, you will learn about the most common errors in panoramic radiographs and how to correct them. Based on this information, we will review multiple panoramic radiographs to identify common but unusual conditions or variations of normal anatomy. You will also learn how to diagnose and differentiate soft tissue calcifications frequently appearing in panoramic radiographs.

Learn How To
  • Review the existing dental literature on panoramic technical errors
  • Understand the physics of panoramic radiography as it relates to image errors
  • Identify panoramic errors and suggest modifications
  • Learn diagnostic clues to differentiate soft tissue calcifications seen in panoramic radiographs.

Black, White, Salt and Pepper: Not Your Hair Color

Pathosis of the jaws can be radiopaque, radiolucent, or mixed. In this three-hour seminar, we will use intraoral, panoramic, and cross-sectional (CBCT) images to learn how to differentiate these conditions and arrive at a treatment plan. Early diagnosis of diseases is the key to better outcomes, and it can be easy to overlook early-stage lesions. Therefore, we will focus on small lesions instead of discussing large ones.

Learn How To
  • Differentiate lesions with similar radiographic features using different types of images
  • Identify which appearance requires immediate treatment, follow-up, or no intervention
  • Understand radiographic features of normal anatomy as they undergo the disease process

In every corner, you'll experience the striking design of this former Art Deco post office from the early 1900s. You'll find the BoHo Hotel's homage to the city's Eastern European heritage throughout the hotel in the form of Matryoshka dolls and original photography. If you're looking for an extra dose of relaxation, you can reserve a signature spa treatment at the hotel's private spa and wellness area.

If you're looking for a break from the heavier, local European fare, you can step inside the Boho Hotel Restaurant for a healthier take on a wide array of international fares.
