Carolina Rodriguez-Figueroa, DDS, MS, Clinical Associate Professor, Division of Endodontics, Department of Restorative Sciences, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She completed her DMD/DDS, at Universidad Central de Venezuela, Facultad de Odontologia. She has also completed an international Fellowship /Certificate in Gerodontology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid -Spain and a Fellowship /Certificate in Endodontics at Universidad del Salvador (USAL) & Asociación Odontológica Argentina (AOA) in Buenos Aires – Argentina. She has pursued advanced certification from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, including advanced training in endodontics, a certificate focused on Oral Health Services for Older Adults Program; a Master of Science degree. Dr. Rodriguez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Ronald Ordinola Zapata, DDS, MS, PhD, Associate Professor, Division of Endodontics, Department of Restorative Sciences, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Zapata is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He received his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Dr. Zapata completed his endodontic residency program at the IB Bender Endodontic Division, Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and a Certificate in Clinical Research at the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health. In his academic career, Dr. Zapata has published more than 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and lectured internationally in more than 16 countries. He also serves as Associate Editor of the International Endodontic Journal (UK) and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics (USA).
Omar Abusteit, DDS, MS, Associate Professor, Division of Endodontics, Department of Restorative Sciences, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Abusteit earned his dental degree from Cairo University and practiced general dentistry for a few years before moving to the USA to pursue postgraduate studies in endodontics. He received fellowships in Endodontics from UCLA School of Dentistry and the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He completed his endodontic specialty training and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also served as the chief endodontic resident. Dr. Abusteit is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, is on the American Association of Endodontists continuing education committee and is a distance learning representative of the AAE. He has published several papers and is a reviewer for international endodontic journals. Dr. Abusteit has also lectured on various endodontic topics in conferences, meetings, workshops, and study clubs nationally and internationally. He maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in Burnsville, Minnesota.
