Making the University of Minnesota my home for the last four years has given me lifelong friends and colleagues.

 In honor of Pride Month, we spoke with Springer about his experience at the School of Dentistry and in the school’s LGBTQ+ Affinity Group.

On the evening before their Commencement ceremony, members of the DDS Class of 2024 gathered in McNamara Alumni Center to celebrate their accomplishments as a class and honor the 2024 DDS award recipients.

Two alumni have found joy and fulfillment volunteering their time at Hope Dental Clinic.

Gary Anderson, DDS ’80, MS ’83, is the 2022 recipient of the School of Dentistry Distinguished Dental Alumni Award.

Two School of Dentistry learners participated in the CLARION Local Interprofessional Case Competition in February. 

What do you want to be when you grow up? It is a big question that we have all encountered  countless times throughout our childhood and adolescence. Some seem to have an answer to this  question right away. For many others, answering this question is a daunting and impossible task.

As the Class of 2024 prepares to graduate and begin their careers, students who have taken on leadership roles will be leaving their own legacies behind.
 

Teaching the next generation of oral health care professionals is an essential part of the mission of the School of Dentistry. It’s part of a personal mission for many alumni, too.
