Bio
Dr. Stull received her dental hygiene education at the University of South Dakota. After receiving an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene at USD, she pursued further education in the area of public health at the University of Minnesota. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene Public Health in 1982. Dr. Stull worked in private practice dental hygiene until November, 2014. She joined the University of Minnesota, Division of Dental Hygiene in 2010, teaching clinical and didactic courses. Dr. Stull received a Master of Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota in 2013 and a Doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University in 2020. Dr. Stull is the director of the Master of Science in Dental Hygiene program and a member of the University of Minnesota interprofessional 1Health team.
Teaching responsibilities in the bachelor degree program include clinical instruction, interprofessional education, and dental practice management. Ms. Stull directs the didactic student teaching course in the MSDH program. She also teaches in the School of Dentistry’s Continuing Dental Education Department, including directing the dental hygiene refresher course and supporting faculty in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
In 2011-2012 Ms. Stull was a subject recruiter for the National Institute of Health Diabetes and Periodontal Therapy Trial. She is also the advisor for the ADEA student group.
