A grant through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health will fund a five-year program called the Minnesota Collaborative Rural Oral Health Project (MN-CROHP), led by the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
The School of Dentistry's past, present and future came together June 26 as Moos Tower hosted Fridjtov Owre of Norway, a relative of Dr. Alfred Owre, the School of Dentistry's influential dean from 1905 to 1927.

Recognized as one of the premier educational events for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, residents and dental students, the Daniel E. Waite Lectureship celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 27-28 when more than 92 participants from across the Midwest convened at the University of Minnesota.
More than 150 kids received free comprehensive dental care at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry on Saturday, February 7, as part of Give Kids a Smile day.
