Karin Quick, PhD, DDS

Dr. Quick serves as the Division Director of Dental Public Health and Director of Global Programs as an Associate Professor with Tenure in the Department of Primary Dental Care at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
 

Her main area of study is academic learning environments including the overall dental school environment, as well as the smaller environments where students learn—classrooms, labs, clinics, and communities. She creates and studies learning environments that build professional relationships and promote deep thinking through active learning methods. Her community-engaged work focuses on health equity and interprofessional teams. She serves as a peer-reviewer for the Journal of Dental Education, European Journal of Dental Education, and Health Services Research.
