Biography
Dr. Jeff Karp is a board certified pediatric dentist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has served as the Director of the School of Dentistry’s Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry since July 2012. In January 2024, Dr. Karp was appointed the Interim Director of the Division of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Karp is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Jeff is a member of the medical staff at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. Dr. Karp is an Alum of Clinical Scholars. He is the current Chair of the Section on Oral Health at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Jeff is an ex officio member of the advisory board at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Research and Policy Center.
Jeff is a husband and father of 3 daughters, an avid audiobook and podcast listener, a coffee and chocolate enthusiast, and a photographer and digital artist with an international following on Instagram.
