Instructions
To apply, eligible students should submit their application and documents via the online application form by the application deadline.
- Dr. Fanny N. Freund Advanced Education Scholarship online application form.
- Letter of support from an academic professional who can speak on the quality of the applicant’s work while enrolled in their advanced education program at the School of Dentistry. The letter should indicate (1) the applicant’s full name, (2) how long and in what capacity the author has known the applicant, and (3) specific examples of why the applicant is a strong fit for the scholarship. The letter should be on professional letterhead and include the letter-writer’s full name, title, institution, and contact information.
- Applicant’s personal statement addressing the following questions: (1) What makes you interested in pursuing a career in education? (2) What steps have you taken to explore your interest in education (3) What is a challenge you see in pursuing a career in dental education? The personal statement should include the applicant’s full name and be no more than 500 words.
Only applications that address all questions and adhere to the formal requirements will be considered.
