Overview

The Graduate Program in Oral Biology offers basic science research training to students seeking academic or research-focused careers. Established in 1968, the program has a strong track record of placing graduates in academic and industrial positions.

The Graduate Program in Oral Biology trains students to initiate independent research programs. Exclusively conducting basic science research, students enjoy considerable flexibility in planning their coursework to accommodate specific areas of interest. Graduates are prepared for employment in universities, dental schools, corporate research and development and oral research centers.

Students can either pursue a PhD in Oral Biology, a dual DDS degree with a PhD in Oral Biology, or a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
